Today is the day – the new cover I’ve had commissioned for The Infernal Lands, Book One of the Aionach Saga, goes live today. I’ll be delving into the process behind its creation in a future post, but for now I think it’s enough just to behold the magnificence of the piece itself, created by the incredibly talented Manthos Lappas. Manthos was fantastic to work with, and there’s no doubt he was successful in capturing both my vision and the feel of the novel with this beautiful rendering:
For the print version of the book, the artwork will wrap around the cover from front to back, creating one large image across the spine. For the ebook version, I slapped some titles on it and ended up with this:
All my thanks goes to Manthos for his hard work and dedication to the project. I’m close to a third of the way done with the next book, so I’ve still got a ways to go. My target date for finishing the first draft of Children of the Wastes is October 1. Thanks for reading!
